Excitement is actually your body’s translation of message from your higher mind saying do this first, do this now.
- Are you acting on your excitement best of your ability with no insistence on particular outcome every moment that you can?
- if not, what are you afraid of?
- Lonely?
- You’re not acting on your highest excitement which could all sorts of people to interact with you in exciting ways you’re lonely?
- i don’t know what the fear is
- you’re not just digging deep enough
- you’ve to make it conscious
- you can’t be afraid to find out what your fear is
- otherwise you’re stopping yourself, you’re blocking yourself, you’re isolating yourself, and that’s why you’re experiencing loneliness.
- because you’re afraid of what will happen if you actually become who you really know you are.
- what do you imagine is the most terrifying thing that might happen if you acted on your excitement to the degree that you would like to?
- is there something that you’re not doing rather be doing? anything at all?
Lets define what’s excitement
- Its an inner compass that helps you align your deeper self with the present moment.
- Some people call it as intuition or life force or call of the being.
- Risk: Following excitement is not easy, it might often lead towards the unknown. you need to be willing to leave the safe (and dull place) to explore the excitement.
- Excitement without grounding can scatter you
- This means that if you chase every feeling of excitement without reflection, you may end up fragmented.
- You’re left exhausted, with many starts but little substance.
- Grounding is what helps you discern which excitements are worth building your life around. It’s the ability to ask:
- Does this excitement still feel alive after the initial rush?
- Is it aligned with who I want to become?
- Can I sustain action around it even when it’s not as thrilling?
- True excitement has a sustaining quality—it feels energizing even after the first thrill fades.
- Following excitement doesn’t mean ignoring duty or others’ needs. The art lies in weaving what excites you with what sustains life and relationships.
- Think of excitement as two layers
- Surface-level excitement
- driven by impulse (like gambling)
- often a distraction
- feels good in the moment but quickly collapses into emptiness or regret
- usually tied to escaping discomfort rather than moving towards meaning.
- Grounded or Aligned Excitement
- Feels expansive, like energizes you rather than drains you
- Deeper resonance with your inner-self
- Often involves growth or expression of your authentic self
